The Taipei Medical University Hospital Reproductive Medicine Center was established in 1991 and, using the newest reproductive medicine technologies, has been assisting couples achieve pregnancy ever since. With exceptional service, experienced physicians and embryologists, and continued successful pregnancy rates, we have made numerous advances in the infertility field for Taiwan:

• 1991 TMUH’s first successful in vitro fertilization pregnancy and live birth
• 1993 Taiwan’s first successful pregnancy using microsurgical epididymal sperm aspiration (MESA)
• 1995 TMUH’s first successful intracytoplasmic sperm insemination pregnancy and live birth
• 1996 TMUH’s first successful pregnancy after frozen embryo transfer

The TMUH Reproductive Medicine Center has excellent physicians, professional nurses, and experienced embryologists, all whom have continued to research and innovate in the assisted reproductive technology field, offering infertility couples the best in surgical procedures and clinical outcomes. Each year, the center completes over 2000 in vitro fertilization cycles, with a successful pregnancy rate of 50%, making us the leader in Taiwan’s reproductive centers. Since 2016, our center has annually received Taiwan’s SNQ award (Symbol of National Quality, 2016-2021), representing safety and quality at the TMUH Reproductive Medicine Center, allowing our patients to be assured of the service they are receiving.
